What sure win predictions really are
Searches for sure win predictions, 100% sure predictions and sure odds bring most visitors here. So the answer deserves to be direct: no football result is sure, and anyone selling certainty is selling a story. What exists is probability. A double chance at 88% lands seven times in eight.
An over 1.5 at 86% lands six times in seven.
A first-half goal at 80% lands four times in five. The selections below are the top of that scale, ranked by chance, each with the price that makes it worth backing or not.
Over a season the difference between a bettor who understands that and one who does not is the difference between a small profit and a steady loss, whatever the hit rate.
Sure win predictions today, tonight and this weekend
Sure win predictions for today are listed first, with tonight's late kick-offs among them, and tomorrow's follow, ranked by probability.
Every row is a pick rated 80% or more in its own market, which is what the banker grade means; a sure win prediction site that promises more than a probability is promising something no model can deliver.
Weekend bankers arrive from Thursday as the Saturday and Sunday fixtures are priced. Most are over 1.5 goals lines and 1X double chances at prices between 1.15 and 1.30, with a few straight home wins for the strongest clubs in Scotland, Portugal and Saudi Arabia.
The banker record on the results pages shows how often the grade lands; a figure near 82% over 30 days is the grade working as intended, and a stretch of losses on short prices is why bankers belong in tickets rather than as singles.
How a pick earns the banker grade
Each market has its own bar: 85% for double chance and over 1.5 goals, 80% for a first-half goal, 75% for draw no bet, 68% for over or under 2.5 and both teams to score, 65% for a home win.
One selection per match is listed, the strongest, and only priced picks qualify, because a banker without a bookmaker line cannot be checked for value. The edge beside each price says whether the chance beats the price.
A 90% pick at 1.08 (93% implied) is a banker and a losing bet at once, and the list shows plenty of those so that the reader can skip them. The chips above the list narrow it to banker grade only or to strong and above.
Football predictions sure wins and the accumulator
Bankers are the raw material of the 2 odds ticket on the accumulators page. Two or three selections from the top of the list, combined price near 2.00, real chance near 45%. That last number is the one most tipsters hide. Stack five bankers at 86% and the ticket lands 47% of the time.
Stack eight and it lands 30%. Stack twelve and it lands 16% while paying about 8.00, which is a losing proposition by any arithmetic. The calculator does the sums for any set of legs.
And the rule that keeps tickets alive is one leg per match, because two bankers from the same fixture rise and fall together.
Where bankers come from and where they do not
Double chance, over 1.5 goals and first-half goals produce most of the list, followed by draw no bet on heavy favourites and the occasional over 2.5 on a match between two open sides.
Match winners almost never reach banker grade, because the draw takes its share in every match, and correct scores and half-time / full-time combinations never do.
By competition, one-sided cup ties and leagues with high scoring averages supply the goal-line bankers, while the top divisions supply the double chance bankers on their strongest home sides.
The competition pages show each league's recent record on the banker grade. And the leagues where bankers have been landing below 85% for a month are the ones to be careful with.
The banker record
The hit rate of banker-grade picks over the last 30 days is 69%, shown in the card beside the list and day by day on the results pages, with the flat-stake return at the frozen prices beside it.
The return is the number that matters. A banker list that lands 88% of its picks at an average price of 1.12 loses 1.4% of turnover, while the same list at 1.16 makes 2%. If the hit rate of these sure win predictions ever drifted far below the grades promise, the bars would be raised.
A banker list that lands 75% of the time has mislabelled its picks, and the per-market table on the results pages is where that would show first.
Questions people ask
Is there a 100% sure football prediction?
No. The highest chances in football, around 90%, belong to double chance and over 1.5 goals picks on one-sided matches, and those still lose one time in ten. Treat any site claiming 100% as entertainment.
What is the surest bet in football?
A double chance covering a strong favourite and the draw, or over 0.5 goals, both near 90% to 95%. The prices, 1.05 to 1.15, show how little the market pays for that safety.
How often do banker predictions win?
Close to their stated chances when the model is calibrated: 85% to 90% for the top grades. The 30-day record for banker picks is 69%.
Why does a banker sometimes show a negative edge?
Because its price implies an even higher chance than the model gives it. A 1.10 price implies 91%. An 88% pick at that price loses money over time, however often it lands.
Which markets produce the most bankers?
Double chance, over 1.5 goals and first-half goals, followed by draw no bet on heavy favourites. Match winners and correct scores almost never reach banker grade.
